Plasticfish
Studios is a dynamic, independent, professional digital video
production company with experience of documentary, drama, satire,
music promotion, actor's showreels, animation, corporate advertising,
etc. Previous clients include Oxfam, the Co-operative Retail Society,
and the National Civil Rights Movement. The company has a full professional
production crew, including actors, scriptwriters, storytellers,
sound engineers, graphic artists, composers, musicians, animators,
puppeteers, caterers, etc.
Gwyn Melvin-Evans
(producer) has over thirty years experience as a freelance photographer,
graphic and digital artist, musician and moving image producer.
He has extensive skills and knowledge of running multimedia projects
and public art, and is named on the credits of ten films to date.
He is a graduate of the University of Plymouth and Plymouth College
of Art and Design and was trained in film production by Kodak. He
recently gained a PGCE in media education.
Andy Shield
(creative director) has had a rich and varied career both as an
actor and director in film, television and theatre. He has run three
theatre companies and among others has worked with many of the household
names of TV, theatre and film. He has run hundreds, if not thousands
of workshops in drama, play making, puppetry and animation and since
the advent of digital technology has become involved in every aspect
of independent film-making. His workshops are highly creative, energising
and always enormous fun.
